Fixed-fee operations review · guaranteed · Cork & Ireland
Get back the hours and money your office is quietly eating.
For businesses that have outgrown the way they're run. A four-week review of how your office, tools and processes actually work, costed from your own figures — guaranteed to find at least four times its fee in costs you can get back, or the €2,500 is waived. Then I stay on to make the fixes stick.
Daniel Gale — years spent making complicated processes work for busy companies as Head of Customer Success at a compliance-software firm, accountable when they didn't. Now doing the same for Irish businesses, in person, one at a time.
Sound familiar?
Every business is different; the leaks rarely are.
- The same information typed into two or three different systems
- Paperwork chased by hand — and piling up in a queue while it waits
- Documents rebuilt from scratch when a template would do
- Work stalling while it waits on a sign-off or a reply
- The one person who knows how it all works — and what happens when they're away
- Nothing gets signed off unless the owner is in the room
- Software you pay for that nobody quite uses
Each of these has a cheaper, calmer way of working behind it. Finding yours is the job.
How it works
Three steps, fixed prices, no hourly billing.
Nothing is implemented, and no cost incurred, without your written agreement.
The Operations Review — €2,500
I spend time in the office with you and your team — a sit-down with you, short chats with staff, a questionnaire, and a half day watching the actual work. Then the deliverable: a written report, presented in person, with the findings costed from your own figures and a detailed proposed solution for each one — the tool or process change by name, its verified price, the effort, and the expected return, in priority order. A worked plan, not a list of observations. Four weeks from the day we start to the presented plan; about one to two hours of each person's time. And it's guaranteed: if the review doesn't find at least four times its fee in costs you can get back, you don't pay for it.
Implementation — one change at a time
You decide what proceeds. Each change is piloted, run alongside the old way until it's proven, then switched over — with your team trained and every new process written down so it survives holidays and staff changes. Larger builds are quoted in writing first.
Ongoing support — €950/month
I stay on: message me and I reply by the next working day, every time; a monthly working session; the new processes and tools kept working so you find out before your customer does; and hands-on improvement work every month. At 90 days we look at the numbers together against your own starting point.

A worked plan, not a slide deck.
Every review ends in a written report, presented in person: each finding costed from your own figures, and a detailed proposed solution against it — the tool by name, its verified price, the effort, and the expected return. Plain English, written for whoever runs your office.
MATCH THE FIX TO THE WORK
The right change for the job.
Sometimes it’s a clearer process. Sometimes it’s a tool you already have. Sometimes a small build earns its place.
One owner. A clear deadline.
Agree who signs off, what they need and when it’s due — so the work keeps moving.
Illustrative examples. The recommendation follows the review.
Honest by design
No commissions. No hourly meter. Estimates labelled.
I sell no software and take no commissions — recommendations are made on merit, with alternatives on request. Savings estimates are built from your own figures with the arithmetic shown, and labelled as estimates. I read every document and sit with your team myself; I use AI tools to speed up the reading and cross-checking, and nothing goes in the report that I haven't checked against your own figures. Your information is used for your report only — never shared, never used to train anything, deleted on request.
Who you'd be working with
Daniel Gale, West Cork.
I spent years inside a compliance-software company, ending up as Head of Customer Success — which is a long way of saying my job was making complicated processes work for busy companies, and being accountable when they didn't. Brackenmark brings that to Irish businesses directly: cheaper than hiring an office manager, more hands-on than your accountant, and it doesn't leave when the nephew who's good with computers goes back to college. You deal with me, I do the work — in person around Cork, remotely, or a mix, whichever suits you — and everything I set up is written down so it belongs to you, not to me.
Fair questions
What people ask before the first chat.
What does it cost, all in?
The review is €2,500 fixed — discovery, the findings report with detailed proposed solutions, and an in-person presentation. Ongoing support is €950 a month. If you'd rather start smaller, Three Quick Wins is €450 for one week, remote, and comes off the review price if you go on to it. Bigger builds are quoted in writing before any spend. There is no hourly billing anywhere.
How much of my team's time does it take?
An hour or two per person, once — a sit-down with you, short chats with two or three staff, a 15-minute questionnaire, and a half day where I quietly watch how the work actually gets done.
We're not a techy company. Is that a problem?
It's the point. If your office runs on Excel, WhatsApp, Sage and a paper diary, that's where we start. The plan is written in plain English for whoever runs your office, every change comes with training and a one-page how-to, and nothing switches over until it's proven alongside the old way.
Do you come out to us?
If you want me to, yes. Around Cork and Munster I'm happy to do the review in person — the half day watching the work is the most useful part. But most of it travels well: interviews, the questionnaire and the monthly sessions all work by video, and the plan is written either way. Plenty of clients do a mix, and fully remote is fine if that suits you better or you're further afield.
What happens to our information? Do you use AI?
Your documents and figures are used for your report only, kept in your client folder, never shared and deleted on request. I use AI tools to speed up reading and cross-checking; every finding is checked by me against your own numbers, and nothing of yours is used to train anything.
Do you sell software or take commissions?
No. When the report names a tool, it's because it's the right one for you — I take nothing from any vendor, and alternatives are listed on request.
What if there's nothing worth fixing?
Then you don't pay — that's the guarantee: if the review doesn't identify at least four times its fee in costs you can get back, there's no fee. In practice I'll tell you at the first chat, before you've spent anything, if I don't think a review would pay for itself.
Start with a conversation
A half-hour chat about how your office runs.
In person around Cork, or by video — whichever suits you. No charge — and I'll tell you plainly if I don't think a review would pay for itself. I take on a small number of clients at a time so I can do the work myself.
